Great restaurant! Very chic with a great menu and delicious food. Classic old building with a cool vault. Also very friendly and attentive staff.
One of the best steaks I've ever had! Pricey but worth it. Great drinks, calamari was good, ribeyes were melt in your mouth and ginormous. Our service was good and timely. I also loved that you could make reservations online (since most of us hate talking on the phone these days). To top it all off, the inside is beautiful and kept all the charm from when it was a bank. Giant vault with seating inside was so cool.
Must visit. Gorgeous building, fantastic atmosphere, incredible service, amazing food. Server said he'd put their steaks up against any steakhouse in Chicago and was correct. Definitely my new favorite restaurant in Cedar Rapids.
We dropped in to get out of the wind and rain early, for a glass of wine and appetizer. Chose the fried artichoke and mushrooms, very tasty. Had so much fun chatting with bartender Cierra we stayed for dinner, steak salad, yum! Lovely architecturally significant building (old bank designed by Louis Sullivan), very friendly staff and owner, and free chilled shrimp during Happy Hour on Fridays.
Excellent establishment in the historic Sullivan designed former Bank. Great menu/wine list. We had top notch service. The French Onion Soup was amazing!!!!
This is a nice place to grab a bite to eat. Good food, desserts and great cocktails. The service is quick and friendly and they have a comfortable outdoor patio area.
Jet always takes care of us when we visit. Everything is top notch when you got to Popolis. The food has never disappointed and is always made fresh. The cocktails are always on point. Wish we loved closer to go more often. It is a must stop in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
